In July 2008 the Board of Directors of Creek Indian Enterprise Development Authority (a political sub-division of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians) resolved to create Muskogee Technology due to the existing market demand for aerospace manufacturing services and supplies. Upon dissolution of Muskogee Metalworks, Mal was selected as President/CEO of Muskogee Technology.
